New HIP Plant: installation underway
TAG continues its technological development journey with the arrival of a new plant dedicated to the Hot Isostatic Pressing (HIP) process at its Cremella (LC) facility.
The investment, announced in recent months as part of the company’s growth plan, will double the capacity of the HIP department, further strengthening TAG’s offering in advanced materials treatments.
The new plant has been installed within the facility and is currently undergoing the technical activities required for its integration into the company’s production processes.
The Hot Isostatic Pressing process is an advanced technology for enhancing material properties: by applying a combination of high pressure and temperature, it reduces internal microporosity and improves the structural integrity of components, helping to increase the reliability and performance of treated products.
The introduction of the new plant is part of TAG’s ongoing investment strategy aimed at consolidating its role as a technological partner in advanced heat treatments and specialized processes.
This further improvement confirms the company’s commitment to strengthening its production and technological capabilities, with the goal of meeting the demands of increasingly advanced applications in key industrial sectors.
