NEW CERITIFICATIONS TO KEEP ON… FLYING HIGH

In this moment of global crisis that encompasses us all we are well aware that we do not have to lose sight of the values which have always guided us in taking decisions for our Company: quality, declined in its multiple forms, it is since always at the first spot for us.
Exactly for this we are glad to announce two new important goals that we have reached: on one side the renewal of the NADCAP Non-Destructive Testing certification, on the other the achievement of the new AS/EN 9110 qualification.
The NADCAP certification for the Non-Destructive Testing maintains, as for the other certifications already renewed during this year, the merit program which allows us to lengthen its validity and testifies the scrupulous attention to the required standards.
The new AS/EN 9110 qualification is instead mainly focused on the fundamental requirements necessary for the maintenance of all kind of aircrafts (commercial, private and military). Besides the requirements in the AS/EN 9100 this new standard includes additional criteria for the structures dedicated to maintaining, repair and revise the organisations serving this sector. Some areas of the AS/EN 9110 are related to the identification and the segregation of unapproved or counterfeit parts, human factors and to the Safety Management Systems.
As we all well know in the Aeronautic, Aerospace and Defence (ASD) industries the fulfilment of high security levels represents the main challenge: even the smallest defects in the products or services can have fatal effects.
This has brought high expectations to the quality and the reliability of parts, systems and services: every organisation operating in the ASD sector has therefore to show its commitment in keeping these standard.
The scope of work defined by TAG for activities related to this norm is the following: “repair of parts for aircraft engines related to the civil and military markets through application of vacuum and conventional heat treatment and surface treatments”.
With this further piece of the puzzle added to the other certifications available we are committed in reaching always higher standards in order to act in the sector as a real top player.
